The 2007 Amelia Island Book Festival was a tremendous success with a host of authors, readers and fun.  Here are a few glimpses of the exciting events.


The Lady St. John riverboat was a big hit and many enjoyed the cruise along the Amelia River.  Thanks to our sponsor VyStar Credit Union for making this memorable event extra special.

What's New

The Amelia Island Book Festival is proud to announce the first annual volunteer awards.  Named for the founders of the Festival, The Parker - MVP award after Don and Andrea Parker and The Selement - Volunteer of the Year Award after Joani and Joe Selement it is important to the Festival that their commitment and dedication to improving literacy and making reading fun in Nassau County is forever remembered.

 

The Parker - MVP award is presented to John Carr for his tireless work in helping to increase awareness of the Amelia Island Book Festival.

 

 

 

The Selement - Volunteer of the Year Award is presented to Cynthia Griffin for her dedication and nonstop efforts in coordinating all volunteers for the entire weekend.  She is pictured with her husband Mike.
